Turbo Tax 2020 is lacking.

I have trusted Turbo Tax for many years (15-20). This year is one of the most frustrating that I have tried to finish my taxes in a timely manner. Turbo Tax 2020 totally ignored the update for the QCD option in 1099R reporting. And as a result, I discovered that they failed to remove comments from prior years that don't apply to current situations. If you don't believe me just attempt to search yourself and see the questions from 2017-2019. Irrelevance. disappointed in Turbo Tax. Had to use a 'work-around' to get my return done.

I've been using turbo tax for over twenty years. Every year, the product gets even better. I can complete my 1040 tax return so fast, and my CPA friends even tell me that they use it.

Gets worse every year

I have been using turbo tax for a long time now. It use to transfer information from the previous year quite well. Now I have to go search for old information. This year I needed to go find the date of my divorce of 12 plus years ago. I was not deducting anything associated with the divorce and all my children are grow...no longer dependents. Turbo tax is starting to suck.

Fee for processing unacceptable

I was told that I had to pay the $20 for state filing but was never told of the $40 processing fee. Last time I purchase Turbo tax.
