Two Problems This Year

As usual, for the last 25+ years, all went well until the review section, and my attempts to print my forms for my records and e-file. The program, for some reason, decided that I had not properly filled out a NONEXISTENT W-2 form, this was strange as I have not filed a W-2 form for the last 6 tax years. I 'Continued' around this 'Glitch', that was requiring a Zip code and State abbreviation on the otherwise blank W-2 until I got to the e-filling when it would not file until I entered a Zip-Coed and State on that blank W-2 form. It then allowed the e-filling to go on to completion! Then I tried to print my forms and all I got was the Preview pop-up box, I tried to open the 'Print Center' button with the response that there were "Errors" on the forms! I finely reopened the 'Preview' Pop-UP and used my print screen to get my hard copies. All of the above is NOT normal for your product.

We did it all ourselves. The Help text is TOO small and not very detailed; no references to IRS Publications for guidance.. Entering information sometimes stalls the program. There should be an hour glass or some tell tale that the program is waiting to respond.

Turbo Tax Not As Easy Anymore

TurboTax used to be a quick and easy experience I completed in half an hour. This one just took two hours to complete. The W-2 didn't transfer and there was no 'try again' option. I kept reentering same information over and over. (Didn't you copy all of that from last year's return?)

Why does the program update after I've filed?

I had to re-open TurboTax after a rejection from the IRS. Not only did the program ask me to activate and re-enter the activation code (I've already done that!) but it also did a program update (I've already filed - I wouldn't think I need an updated program). It updates every time I open it - aggravating.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
