Comprehensive, Accurate, Simple

I had a rather unusual situation. One of the tax calculation forms required entry of an amount. The amount imported from my financial institution was 49 cents, which TurboTax rounded down to 0.00. That resulted in an error message that prevented me from e-filing without filling in some amount. I called and spoke with a TurboTax expert. She was pleasant and patient - and fun to talk to as well. She walked me through a couple of possible fixes. We concluded that the only practical solution was for me to delete the information downloaded from my financial institution and to enter it manually. Easy! Done! Problem fixed and e-filing completed.

Turbo Tax was realy, realy Great!

This is my second year using Turbo Tax Deluxe, and have to be honest I should have been using it from the very beginning instead of using those other 'Tax Preparers' that charge you several hundred's of dollars to do your taxes! Easier the second time around as all my pertinent tax information was already there to be brought over from last year's tax forms, so just needed to update my earnings and such for the new tax year. One of the great convenience of Turbo Tax is it's ability to answer (in simple form that you can understand) any question I might have about any particular tax form or tax line in that form that I might need to fill in that pertains to me, or not?

TurboTax Deluxe

Been using TurboTax Deluxe for years. Best product on the market.
My only complaint is it doesn't know how to deal with depreciation on a Like-Kind Exchange. If you don't know what this is you will have zero worries. If you do it's a fairly simple override in Forms View.
