always more fees

TurboTax update blues

I have used TurboTax since before it was an Intuit product and really likw the format. I have had my two children and now even my adult grandchildren use it. One of the bothersome items to me is the constant update request each time the software is opened. This should be a selectable update rather than mandated. The review at the end of the process could have a mandated update to check for changes. This year I even opened my 2019 program to review a questionable item while doing my 2020 taxes and it mandated an update, those taxes were filed 11 months earlier and certainly didn't require an update.
