I've been using Turbo Tax for years, and it has made filing so much easier. No problems with the federal edition, but the state edition (Maryland) had some confusing instructions and omissions. Since MD doesn't tax US govt obligation dividends, why is there no place to record them? And why send me back to a form with impenetrable instructions that turned out to mean only that I should erase the zero and leave the line blank? Still, Turbo Tax is infinitely easier to figure out than the Maryland tax forms themselves, which might as well be written in cuneiform.

The only real issue I had was with the state return. In Alabama military retirement is not taxed, but the page where you indicate this was not worded the best.
