TurboTax Still Needs Some Work.

The product is very helpful in most areas but needs work in explaining more specific topics. One example is when I was trying to figure out where to deduct the Special Improvement District (SID) taxes in the program. The help screens indicated it was deductible but nowhere did it say where to enter that information in the program or on the form. Very confusing.

best tax software out there!!

I have been using TurboTax for several years now and it hasnt failed me yet. Super easy to use and filing online is a breeze. So thankful for this software as it saves me a ton of money and is a great overall product!

Turbo Tax Shut Down Temporarily

I waited till the last minutes and completed my taxes in the early AM hours on the last day of online e-filing, then saw screen message that e-filing was over. I didn't panic because TurboTax had always been so "last minute reliable" I called was told there was a temporary glitch, so I waited and e-filing was smooth as always. Thanks.

Worst experience ever

I've used TurboTax for over 10 years. This was worst experience ever, with blank pop-up windows seeming to freeze and only workaround a user suggested change to resolution. Extremely frustrating! Wasted hours!

Very good program! needs enhancement Foreign Taxes

I have been using Turbotax since 1999 .. just because it's the best!
Very helpful with tips and last years records. Easy to walk-through and it gives you the choice to use it in 5 different PCs.
I use the DELUXE program, i find though the Foreign Taxes area is limited and needs enhancement. The program doesn't explain which method to use, or at least ask you to use both Foreign Income Exclusion and Foreign Tax Credi and then chose what applies best. It has many confusing wordings and really is a ''maze''. I please ask the team to develop better that area if possible.

TurboTax got caught in own error

Tax data, returns done. Then reviewing time, the software got caught in internal error of 0.000006% difference in the way home office deductions get calculated. But once standard deduction is chosen (none of the itemized deductions should matter), but program got caught in that error and wouldn't let me file online. False claim of free filing.

Problem with self-employed health ins deduction

I LOVE Turbo Tax. I have been using it forever, BUT TurboTax does NOT accept my self-employed health insurance premium adjustment (Schedule 1, Line 16), which causes me to file and then file an amendment (since I file at the deadline, my fault). And the override function does not work on TT 2020 Deluxe.
