Submission Never Occurred

I did my 17 year old's taxes and mine on the same day. His submitted and mine did not. He was getting a refund and my husband and I owed. We were wondering why the funds still had not been deducted as we requested it be on 05/17/2021. I think since I did not do the state taxes for me via Turbotax it somehow stopped my submission. I did however file my son's state taxes via Turbotax because we were unable to get his state password in time to file directly with our state. I have used Turbotax for years, but have always submitted my state with the Turbotax software. I never had issues until submitting the Federal Return without submitting the state via the software. Now it is June 3 and I am sure I will have a hefty penalty and interest.

Tax's done great, support questionable

I like Turbo tax but i'm not able to comment or ask questions. Also, not clear on how to keep both the tax application and the completed submission together.

WORKS ALMOST FLAWLESSLY

I have used Turbotax for years...starting with DOS! It has been flawless.
I have not had any issues with filing and getting refunds.
This year seems different, with all the stimulus checks, etc I have not received my refund and I filed in April. This has been the first hickup in years!
