TurboTax is great!

I have not always used TurboTax, and boy that was a mistake. TurboTax is the easiest and most reliable program to use especially if you are not a tax professional. Love this program!

Have been a user of Turbo Tax for over 25 yrs. and have enjoyed the easy of use with the exception of the initial login, which has more to do with the computer updating and disabling the firewall.

Good luck if you will ammend!

"Ammend" feature is broken and difficult. Example: If you have already filed before the new unemployment rule in 2021. Then the new rule caused you to be eligible for additional credits, IRS advice you to ammend. Now good luck with TT with that. Because TT updated the formulas, once you reopen your tax file to ammend, instead of showing your original (already filled and accepted) returns, it would show the new return as if you filled after the new rule!! Now, how can I ammend my return when it is already not showing the return that I filled?! Impossible to do so using the software. Leaving me have to find out how to file form 1040-X manually which is the reason people buy tax software in the first place.

The software worked fine until the very end. However, DO NOT USE THE ELECTRONIC FILING! It's a ripoff! There is a flaw between Turbotax and the IRS where your prior year AGI will not matchup with what's in the IRS records. Therefore, your return will be rejected and you're out $25.

Best tax program on the market

I have used tax prepare people in the past and was audited 3 times. I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. So easy to use and I have never had to be audited by the IRS when using Turbo Tax

I did my retired Uncle's taxes, in addition to my immediate family. My uncle's was the 5th return I efiled. Then, I mis-read instructions for filing Railroad benefits (which were poorly outlined in turbo tax), so I had to amend his return. I could not file the amendment because I did the 5th one already. I had to buy another Turbo Tax for $50 just to efile his one return. They should track social security numbers to count the number of efiles, not names. Very disappointed and threw money away having to buy two programs for the same year! I ahve been a loyal customer to Turbo Tax and have bought disks for over 20 years, I am not sure I will use Turbo Tax anymore.
