We received a letter from the IRS stating that there were multiple issues on the forms we submitted stating that we owe $2376.00 to the federal government instead of the $24.00 return we expected.

Have used Turbo Tax for years, only thing I do not like is it waste a lot of time looking for updates. That can be a hassle if you had to close the program for a short while - still looks for updates. Should be an option on whether to look for updates or not. Thank you

Failure to file electronically - 2nd year in a row

For the second year in a row, I was unable able to file me returns electronically. This year, my return was rejected twice almost immediately. The program provides virtually no guidance as to the cause of the error and the only solution offered is to mail the returns in. IF I had wanted to mail my return and wait 4-6 weeks for processing (Joke!), then I wouldn't have wasted $60 on Turbo Tax and I would have completed my returns by hand. Next year I will be identifying an alternative to Turbo Tax.
