They're doing a good job of extracting more money from the people who purchase Turbo Tax. This year's iteration seems less intuitive than five years ago. I think I'll shop around before next year's purchase of tax filing software.

Definitely saved me some tedious work

I liked the topic relating to medical deductions. In the past I have gone through all the painstaking labor of gathering up all the receipts and calculating them all only to be told that I didn't have enough to itemize. Now this section kicks off letting you know that you must have $xxxx to itemize, and that if you don't have it, don't waste your time. Loved knowing the number upfront. I knew without even starting to calculate that I wasn't even close to reaching it, and so knew I didn't need to bother with this sections.

I have been doing our taxes for more than 40 years with Turbo Tax. This year we refinanced our home and wasn't sure if I should do it myself or not. As I put the paperwork together for an accountant, I realized everything he wanted was just what I had prepared for entering into TurboTax ... so I did it myself!

I've been using TurboTax since about '93 and while I know that it isn't bug free (NO annually updated software is) no mistake or flaw has surfaced in the 27 years I've used it. I've watched my neighbor use their main competitor's product (that I won't name) and wasn't impressed.

Really disappointed this year

When we got our check in the mail with extra charges saying it was refused direct deposit at our bank. We have used Turbo tax for years and this is the first time we have had extra charges and any problems with our direct deposit. it was not clear that there was a 3rd party involved that would be handling our return.

Can't e-file; rejected! Paid for e-file

Have used Turbo Tax for years. This year it did not work. Paid to e-file and was rejected. Had to file by mail - could not resolve issue despite all info being correct. Want a refund for filing fee. How do you get their attention?
