Filing 2020 tax returns, I have especially excellent experience with TurboTax because it kept up-to-date with the quick changing Federal regulations and deadlines.

Glitchy experience, poor interface.

I product I purchased was supposed to come with one free state filing, and it asked me if I wanted to use my one free state filing and then still charged me $25 to file with the state. I was also unable to submit the return because of a section that is required to leave blank if I live in Baltimore City, so I had to choose a different county in order to bypass and will have to amend. Transitioning between sections is also arduous, the website version is much easier to navigate.

This is my first experience of using this software.I couldn't believe we filed our income tax so easily with my husband.Turbo Tax is awesome... easy to use & i also got a refund. Highly recommended! Thank you so much Turbo Tax!

slow to load

Opening it takes to long as well as reopening once it is saved. Locked up several times
during filing. Once the file is saved it shouldnt take longer than a few seconds to reopen
get rid of the updates once the return has been started..

TurboTax every year!

I have used TurboTax for years because I like how it steps one thru all the items. Did have a few items in the 2020 version - I had accidentally indicated that we had 1095-A form and it was a challenge to find the right spot where to remove that check mark. Another item was that my employer had applied for the state ID and TurboTax did not stop me until I was ready to submit my return. An early warning would have been nice as I thought it was acceptable to have 'Applied for' in the state ID field.

Instead of a step by step incremental costs would appreciate an up front number for all of the recommended additional products.
