Making payments

I wish they allowed you to pay your Federal Income Tax first. I had to go through screen after screen of the state tax, and at the very end they had the Federal income tax screen. It was a little annoying and frustrating when you are trying to finish that specific part of your taxes.

ok but definitely needs improvement

Despite my excellent Internet connection (I have fiber optic and was sitting right next to the router at 1000 mbps), and my employer and Robinhood being partners with TurboTax which should have allowed me to import data, I was not able to import any data and had to enter everything manually. I also think that it would be very helpful having a gauge for how far along until the end (95% complete, est remaining time 10 mins, etc)

I have used TurboTax for over 15 years. It is simple to use, I can upload my W2s, bank, and mortgage statements. I like to go through all incomes and deductions just incase I overlooked something.

Better than TaxCut, but i just lost my love for it

Good coverage of all the topics. However TurboTax has an EXTREMELY long and cumbersome finishing process once you have entered all your tax data. It took me 40 minutes just to complete all the finishing work (auditing, continued questions, address info, phone info, banking info, credit card info, setting up an intuit account, making payment, codes sent by email, codes sent by phone, and MORE!). This 40 minutes caused me to miss the filing deadline, as TurboTax will not e-file your return until you have gone through all this clean up. Quite maddening when you trying to beat a deadline.
