I've been utilizing Turbo Tax for quite a few years and have found them to be quite through. They keep abreast of all new tax revisions thereby enabling me to file my taxes successfully.

Great software that I have used for many many year

Schedule K-1 for a retirement plan (item I2 checked), TurboTax says it removes K-1 (this is what I remembered). But during tax return submission, it continuously asks for partnership's name and ID. Even with that glitch, this year, Turbotax is still my SUPER STAR. ;-)

New Changes Make Filing by Mail Difficult.

Every year together with my adult son we complete his taxes with Turbo Tax. We often file his state return by mail. This year when we attempted this we were cycled and made to enter a credit card information and paid $25 for the electronic filing when all we wanted was to mail in his return. We were allowed to mail a voucher linking his payment check to the electronically filed return.

Turbo Tax is very good

The only thing I would change is to offer Standard Deduction option at beginning of deduction section.
