Turbo Tax is awesome

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and love this product for doing my taxes. It is easy to use and helpful if I need the help. I will always use Turbo Tax.

I filed by mail last year and spent alot of time just figuring out which forms to file and which saved me the most money. Turbo tax was extremely simple and easy to use. It also made me aware of other things I can use for my taxes next year.

TurboTax is easy and quick

Very straightforward. Mostly yes or no questions with the ability to go in depth with all deductions possible. Help tabs that instantly describe what the questions are looking for and how it applies to your returns. Surprised by just how fast this was. Took me roughly an hour to do both federal and state!

Turbo Tax is good, but not great

I experience issues whenever I remove info from the previous year, such as business income I am no longer receiving. Turbo Tax will ask me if I want to delete that info; I respond 'yes', but at the end, I get error messages of information needed. Looks like it copies from the previous year; I'm not sure. But I have to go in and fix them manually by entering zeros to clear it. I should not have to do that if Turbo Tax deleted that category for me. Other than that, I will remain a costumer since I've been using Turbo Tax for years, and am too old to change.

Missed entering IRS PIN number

The IRS provided an identity protection PIN number, which if not added to your return may cause a delay or rejection. This is not the 5 digit PIN you create for Turbo Tax e-file. The 6 digit IRS PIN should be entered on Form 1040. The step by step process does not provide an option to enter the IRS supplied PIN. Too late now as I transmitted my return. Hopefully it will accepted and my refund will be processed without delay.
