TurboTax walked me through entering all my information. I had 2 problems I could not resolve and I called TurboTax and they were able to resolve the problem. The support people were very knowledgeable and courteous.

Turbo Tax Problems

I have been using TT for 20+ years, and this year it gave me nothing but problems. First, it took me 2 hrs to get it loaded on my laptop & I this was using both the CD and online downloading. I finally got it to load via the CD and I don't even know what I did!
I then had problems with the new section, where I did not receive my 2nd stimulus money. It took me 4 tries to get this section right.
I was going to e:mail this year, but it was rejected FOUR times! My return was correct per TT. It had to do with my personal info verification for e:filing. I entered the correct AGI three times, verifying with my 2019 tax return. After 4 times, I gave up and decided I will just mail in my tax return!
I was discussing this problem with a friend, and she had the exact same thing happen to her!! She is another long term user of TT. What "gives" Turbo Tax???
After all of these problems, this is the last time I will purchase Turbo Tax Deluxe! My friend feels the same way as I do. You have lost two long term TT users and purchasers. I am going with an in person tax specialist in the future. It will be worth it not to have these same frustrations again!!!!!

What Happened!

I have been using TurboTax for 20 Plus years. I filed electronic last year and now I just keep getting AGI errors from the values being brought in from 2019 which prevent the IRS from accepting my file. You swept my Credit card for Paying the IRS and a $25 processing fee to file electronically with CA FTB. I processed payment with CA FTB by Check and an hour later, the IRS rejects my electronic filing. Subsequently 3 other attempts were also rejected; so now I have no other option but mailing and paying by check both IRS and CA FTB. Thanks
