Payment suck

It seems that Turbo Tax used to be better and easier to use. I had to make some manual corrections to make this work for us. I hope that they improve their software as I have used them for many years now.

Was much easier than expected. Good pop up for info and detailed. Would have liked a pre list of items and paperwork needed for filing. To avoid searching for extra documents during the file process.

My "GoTo" Tax Solution since 1985

I have been using TurboTax since 1985 and have always felt completely satisfied and safe with the results. The only time I had to submit an amended tax return was when I mistakenly used the previous year's W2 to report my income. I was easily able to go back to the return on my computer, enter the correct numbers and write a check to cover the costs to the IRS. Even that was easier than what I would have done if I hadn't used tax software. I tried using a tax accountant one year on the advice of a friend, and the accountant said he couldn't find anymore deductions than TurboTax had come up with. That cost me 3 times what TurboTax cost at the time, so I've never considered having anyone else do my taxes since!
