Turbo Tax fees are misleading and excessive

Turbo tax is no longer a value and needs to explain the fees in their marketing material.

The only problem is that I am a procrastinator and Turbo Tax encourages me to wait till the last minute to do my taxes.

Normally a homerun software, struggles to make it

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years. It has always been a great resource for completing my taxes. This year I had to go into the forms to process my son's 1098-T correctly. When asked was any part of the scholarship used of room & board etcetera it made it all taxable even though none of it was. Additionally, the 1099-NEC form default process included creating a company instead of getting a prompt to call it "Other Income". I'm hoping for better next year. If not, I'll find another solution.

Might need to change companies

Couldn't import from It's Deductible--froze the computer every time I tried.
Logging in to Intuit--seems like I have to change my password every time I try--and it couldn't find my 2019 returns.

Turbo Tax is Easy!

We have been using Turbo Tax fora number of years and have found it is to use. The only thing we would suggest is when listing your deductions that you return to the bottom verses the top.
