Same as always but with a bit more cost

Seems to do less every year. Had to re-enter my account information three times and retype my name into the program a dozen or so times. They've been slacking off and really should be pulling more information into these forms that they already have.

Another Relatively Painless Return

Does anyone look forward to doing their taxes? I don't, but in the years since beginning the use of TurboTax, I've avoided the potential panic and dread of the experience and have really appreciated the step by step guidance provided. Just being able to import all of last year's information quickly and accurately justifies the price alone, although it's become a given. It's Deductible has also been one of the nicest benefits in valuing donations. It would be hard to estimate the small percentage of taxpayers NOT using tax preparation software like this, aside from those with their own accountants.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Product Glitchy This Year

Product seemed glitchy this year. For some reason, it did not populate my 2019 inform correctly. Also, when hitting the back-button, the wrong screen was populated. Also, took a long time to download and install the app this year.

More Difficult than Previous Years

I found the software much more difficult to navigate this year. New language that is not clear to the not tax smart person. I found it extremely frustrating to input information that was not able to be used for tax deduction purposes and that it was not clear until digging that it was a change to no longer be an allowable deduction this year. I also found it frustrating that when full deductions or credits were not allowable there was not a clear explanation why. As well as it was not always clear where to look in last years return for information that did not transfer over to this year.
