Turbo Tax makes a complex job as easy as one can expect. Sure, there are issues, but most are based on my ignorance of the process, I suspect.

Simplified my first filing as a senior citizen

Just thought I would be filing the standard 1040 form (federal) but Turbo Tax picked up that I had reached the age of legitamitly being a senior and opted for the 1040 SR
