Turbo Tax makes it Easier

Tax time always brings challenges: Don't have the correct documents, can't find documentation for all deductions. Turbo Tax always shows ways to make it easier.

TurboTax needs a little work

I would normally rate TurboTax a 5 out of 5 stars. However, this year, I had multiple issues in saving the document, both while I was working through my return AND as I was filing electronically. Not sure what's going on - have never had an issue like this in all my previous use of TurboTax (15+ years).

Turbo Tax is easy friendly

The TurboTax deluxe program is easy friendly and has helpful tools to help you self prepare your return. It has been over 5 years since I have prepared my own taxes and my grown children's taxes. TurboTax does not include the price to E-file your state return along with your federal return. The hidden fee to E-file your state return is around $45.00 dollars and you will not know that until your ready to E-file your state return. I decide to mail in my state return along with my federal return due to this issue.

Not worth the cost

I have to be honest, I just don't think Turbo Tax is worth the money anymore. I waited to long to switch to another more cost effective software this year, but I will not make that mistake next year.

Can't Add Two 1098s

I had refinanced this year and input my two 1098 Interest Statements. I was shocked when I found it only put a fraction of the interest into my schedule A. I back tracked and found they put special instructions for people who refinanced. You have to manually add the two 1098 box 3 and 5 and input it into the first 1098 and remove the second if you didn't follow the instructions. How hard is it for TurboTax to figure this out for itself? I expected more.
