Should start with a checklist

TurboTax is great and pretty easy to work with. I just wish it would give you a checklist of things you will need such as Bank Acct Routing and account number, Drivers license of all people on return, etc
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

TurboTax still useful but has shortcomings

TurboTax is still useful and cost-effective for filers with fairly simple to moderate needs; however, its guidance is sometimes confusing, especially (but not only) related to filing with an IP PIN.
Further and more troubling, Intuit has already indicated that for next year (2021) TurboTax will require macOS 10.15 "Catalina" or later, which is far too aggressive for the software's actual needs and for the first time in almost two decades, I will seriously consider other options.

Disappointed this year

I've been using TurboTax for about 20 years and this has been the most frustrating. Some of the instructions are vague and unclear which sent me on a chase through Google. I don't like it that I can't just print a state return without needing to wade through all the federal forms and attachments.

4 stars because previous year returns were easier to fill out. The explanations, around medical coverage, were difficult to understand for me.
