Most problems I've ever had

Turbo Tax would not activate until I googled what was wrong and tried multiple screen resolutions. It took me hours just to open the product. From what I read online, Turbo Tax knows all about this problem and apparently it involves new computers and windows. How in the world did Turbo Tax not correct this? I am filing my taxes at the very last minute and the first thing the software did was update. Yet this problem persisted. I have been using turbo tax for many years but I may need to try a new program next year. I would have returned it and bought a different program this year if I had the time.

Couldn't upload Return

I couldn't upload my return because the computer i used was too new. Your support people discovered this. And they were right. I downloaded the software on an older and much slower machine and it went through. $800 dollars and a month latter, i got them uploaded. i will never purchase the disk version ever again. i debating ever using any version ever again.

Streamlined Tax Returns

Have been using Turbo Tax for the last 5 years and it has been a very easy experience. Notifications of submission and acceptance are great. Software calculates everything as it walks through all the steps.

Turbo Tax State Refund

This is my second year using Turbo Tax, and the second year I have had trouble filing my State Income Taxes. Last year I paid the fee for filing, but was unable to e-file. I had to print and mail the return. Turbo Tax did refund my fee, but it was inconvenient. This year I purchased the one that included a free filing of the state taxes. It even stated that it was free before I finished filing. Then when it came time to e-file, it asked for $20. Since I have waited until the last minute to file, I decided to go ahead and pay the fee, with the intention of contacting Turbo Tax during business hours to address the issue. Once I entered my credit card number, the fee was increased to $25.00 with no explanation of why the extra $5.00.
The program is great, it is easy to use and easy to understand. However, the extra fees and charges leave a bad taste for me.
