The Best!

Have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years! Always the best and easiest way to do your taxes, walking you through every step. I've only used the Deluxe version, which was sufficient even with rental property income (including depreciation and expenses) and when I had a sole proprietorship with home office deductions. We have had three college students and it will keep track of the American Opportunity Tax Credit, etc. The Best!!

Year 2020 Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax - Year 2020 was easy to use and straight forward. I appreciate that it automatically retrieves information from my last year's tax return to save time. One suggestion, during the E-file section, Turbo Tax did not go directly to the question on what was my adjusted gross income from my previous tax return (security question). Instead, I noticed that the AGI question was listed in the E-File summary and I had not reviewed it for accuracy. Clicking on the AGI question was easy and I verified that the AGI data transferred from my previous tax return by Turbo Tax was correct.

Great service throughout, the service really walks you through every step to get the greatest possible refund. I was originally supposed to receive one amount, but after reviewing all possible deductions allowed to me, turbotax was able to almost double my refund.

Double billed for my State e-file

I had to restart my return after attempting to efile, and having paid the $25 for the state e-filing. But there was no way to reference that previous payment. So I was forced to pay a second $25. I will be calling customer support to get my account credited, but there should be an easy way to enter the confirmation code to prevent this
