I have used Turbo Tax for years, and it worked for me. Cheaper than paying a CPA.

DISTURBING glitches and errors

Aggravating circuitous inputs; less intuitive than previous years.
Payment by debit was a nightmare until I removed my state, Ohio.
Had to go backwards to input 1098T for son's tuition.
Using TT for 10+ years, never had such a miserable experience.

Didn't install on Windows 7. Said it was "insecure". That should be my decision, not yours. I am an experienced and security conscious programmer. Windows 10 will not ever become something I use willingly for any reason. Security conscious technical people use open source, Intuit should as well. You should write a Linux version or at least something that doesn't force me to upgrade to Microsoft's latest mistake. And no, I don't ever intend to use the web version as long as a desktop version is available. Web sites are even less secure than Windows 10.
Saved my bank account correctly from last years return. Then made me reenter it twice for my state and federal refunds. Kind of pointless to save something and then never let people use it.
I liked TurboTax much better back in the 1990's before marketing got in the way of a usable product.
