Worst Experience this year

I had to have a computer expert to come into my house to upgrade my operating system to do turbo taxes this year, then when I wanted to efile my taxes for Georgia, some glitch prevented me from doing that. I have used turbo tax for years and NEVER had this frustration!!!!

Works well and Adjust to Changes!

Our taxes were simplified somewhat and TurboTax adjusted. Having used it last year also expedited the return so much faster. Won't be able to use it next year but, will in 2023...will return to use it for sure.

Many problems with Turbo Tax this year

I have used Turbo tax for years, HOWEVER, this year was terrible! The CD wouldn't load properly until at least 5 times trying. Then when I tried to log back in it sent me a message that my pc couldn't use this app. I had to uninstall and reinstall the program 3 times!

Easy to use but sometimes confusing

I have used Turbotax for about 6 years now. It is easy to use but has some drawbacks. Sometimes it is not easy to back out of an entry if I change my mind or make a mistake. Carrying forward losses on some investments from prior years is also confusing. Sometimes I don't even know what it is asking me for and the explanations are not clear. I also have a problem with the $25 charge for e-filing with the state. That is a pure rip-off in my opinion as it costs Intuit absolutely nothing to efile. Just charge us what you think the product is worth up front and dispense with the extra fee. Doing it this way represents the product as cheaper than it really is since you first pay the advertised fee for the software and then find out there are other charges. I know...it's a marketing ploy but a bit dishonest don't you think? Despite my negative rant above, I like Turbotax and have recommended it to friends. I plan on continuing to use this software in the future but if a competitor arrives with a similar product and they don't have hidden e-file fees, then I will switch.

Federal SR return was pretty clear Ga state was not.Income exclusion instructions for Georgia were not clear and actually misleading.
