I've been using Turbo Tax since 2014. The tax codes have become more complex and endlessly change. Turbo Tax keeps up with it all. Great product. I highly recommend it.

Although I've been using Turbo Tax for a few years I believe they can very easily explain the forms that were generated in a better format than is available. Also, TT makes it much more complicated than required to pull up forms, etc.

A Few Issues

I've used TurboTax for several years. The 2020 software is more confusing than I remember it being. Perhaps it is because of the tax changes made. Descriptions were not as clear and the "help" boxes had such small type, it was difficult to read. Sentences were confusing and I had no idea I had to pay more money when I reached the end to e-file. Had I known this, I would not have purchased TurboTax Deluxe. I do not remember having to pay more money in the past. It seems their advertisements are less than honest since there is no mention of having to pay more money to e-file. You buy the software and expect to be able to e-file without charge. Guess I'll consider H&R Block next year or some other product or tax accountant.

Like the product for the most part - seems accurate except for the states of NY & NJ....they were WAY OFF!!! Pricing has gotten WAY too high for what you get. I am thinking of switching next year to a CPA or H&R Block's software.

EASY ENOUGH, EFILE IS CONVENIENT, WISH STATE EFILE WAS FREE. UNTIL TAX CODE CHANGES, STANDARD DEDUCTIONS SHOULD BE FREE EFILE. ONCE STATE DEDUCTIONS AND ITEMIZATION RETURN, I GET THE COSTS AS THAT PROCESS IS MORE CUMBERSOME AND STATES WILL GET MORE PERSONAL TAXES AND MORE MONEY FROM FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
