There needs to be a simpler way to enter NYSPL payments. The on-line forum gave me the naswer but it is still cumbersome.

Absurdly hard to run on Mac, grateful for Twitter

After years of running TT without problems--and being rather pleased with it vis-a-vis clergy tax idiosyncrasies, this year I spent untold hours trying to get the download version to stay stable enough to work on on my MacBook Pro. After it freezing, vanishing, and then being completely unable to open, time and again, I finally tweeted TurboTax support AND MacBook support, and finally figured out I'd need to create a new admin-level user profile and then run the program from there. What a hassle. Intuit is not a start-up brand, and a skeptic would wonder whether there's a de facto attempt to make it less easy NOT to use the online platform instead.

Good for basic taxes

As my tax returns have become complicated, Turbo Tax has become less user friendly and less effective at saving money on my returns. Worked well for simple to moderate returns. My tax needs appear to have outgrown its usefulness.
