nickel and dime you to death

generally easy to follow but finding help while basic version is difficult, but you can pay more to get better help. also audit defense is an extra amount each state is an additional amount it all adds up.

Almost ready to use something else

Easy to use, yes, and I have been for probably over two decades.
BUT, my tax situation is simple and between purchase price, e-filing fees, state fees, audit protection, and any other step along the way that can be used to generate another nickel revenue it is getting to the point where it would literally be cheaper and take less time for me to drop my files off with a licensed tax account.

I've used Turbo Tax for 30+ years. It makes my tax preparation so simple. If I have any issues, links to IRS publications and Turbo Tax Help always answer my questions.
