Just does not work with newer laptops

I had to change resolutions multiple times to get through the screens. Multiple workarounds to download state return. eFile again takes multiple attempts to function. Had to install onto a different machine to get this to work. I spent a lot of time troubleshooting this software. I would have been better off going to a tax preparer.

Turbo Tax needs a design update

TurboTax feels like it hasn't changed significantly since the early '00s. The datedness is reflected in the visual style, the interface, and the frustrating, circular user flows (I must have had went through the state tax flow for Minnesota about 5 or 6 times, because I clicked elsewhere and re-entered). Can you please improve the user experience? You have a great opportunity to make doing taxes less stressful, not more. As it is, your program is not intuitive nor pleasant.

Turbo Tax was mostly good

Generally easy to follow. I appreciated the versions in previous years that gave the option to update or skip the update and work on the return. I like to keep my return on external hard drive so I work on it without internet connection for security and only connect to update and file.
