Everything worked well except for processing the excess IRA contribution that I reported and indicated that I had requested excess be removed before May 17 but TurboTax asked form number from line 9 of 4852 which is not a number and it would not let me enter NA. Also form 4852 was based on 1099-R for this excess which I won't get until February 2022.

Tired of being stuck in update purgatory (I have another word for it, but I can't use swear words) . Everything I try to do, I get an error that the program must update. The update invariably fails. Tried every troubleshooting step suggested by Intuit and others. Tried to manually update, and the update program said I didn't have TurboTax installed! As a programmer and IT Analyst, I have no patience for this kind of sloppy programming, especially for something as basic as an update program. I expect there to be some bugs in an app, but this is ridiculous! I could have done my taxes faster by hand, with a lot less headaches. I'll be looking for a new tax prep program for next year...

Experience was overall good but there did seem to be confusion regarding self employed income and expense.. I had to manually input the information.

I've used Turbo Tax for several years and have found the product easy to use. It walks the user through each phase of the tax process which is the primary reason I use the product.

It makes filling out taxes so, easy you can easily get a rough estimate of your return either having to pay or get a refund just by plugging in rough numbers then when you have the actual forms it is easy to make the changes and get the final return completed.
