Turbo Tax is a Solid Tax Product

I've used it for 15+ years. I like the ability to toggle between the forms and guided analysis. The ability to easily 'go back' from anywhere is extremely useful. And when you click on help, you get context sensitive help for the topic you are on.

not as pleased this time

When downloading the disk, it instructed to click on turbotax.exe. After MANY attempts and it not down loading I finally tried the file w/o .exe and it downloaded. It would also be great if each segment during download gave a time frame as to how long it would take. I have never taken this much time and had the confusion as with his yrs version.

customer service is great.
However, don't appreciate that you nickel and dime for everything, first have to pay for program, then pay cuz need to file in a second state, then have to pay to e-file the states.

not impressed. allowed to to file my state returns with an erroneous code. return got rejected. then instead of directing me to the page with the error, it led me thru my entire state return.

Turbo Tax is good until you have more than one W2

Year after year I use Turbtax even thoough it cannot figure out that duplicate state lines on W2s end up charging double taxes in states. I didn't catch it this time and had to file an ammended state return. It should be easy in the software to detect duplicates and ask about it but Turbotax really makes it difficult to find these mistakes and fix it without manually adjusting the forms yourself.
