We appreciate how Turbo Tax walks us through all the steps, with options to click on "Learn More" - which are mostly useful. Very affordable too.

TurboTax is Fantastic

We originally went to our tax preparer who filed our taxes last year. After several unreturned phone calls and tax deadline getting closer, I decided to use Turbo Tax, so glad that I did, not only was it cheaper than a tax preparer, but it was so easy to use. Fast and efficient, this will now be my "Go-To" for filing taxes each year.

Turbo Tax Delivers

Turbo Tax simply lives up to and exceeds all that it claims and advertises it will do. It is intuitively designed and anticipates your sequence of thoughts and calculations and questions and knowledge. It explains and gives a sense of how important a specific category is to IRS and to you for the best Tax Return. Keeps in view you running "Tax Return or Taxes Due" status...as you go through process. Also, Lets you "drive" or "follow prompts" throughout the process. Clearly keeps you on the "playing field"...works to ensure best tax return and lowest audit probability.
Turbo Tax's reviews for proper completion, accuracy and then correcting any questionable areas...before filing...are excellent and comforting. E-Filing is incredibly easy to follow with numerous safeguards. Post filing, Turbo Tax is tracking your return and verifying its status with you while you are getting IRS status. Lastly, provides excellent options for saving and printing your official Tax Return submission. Next year, when load software...it pulls up your tax data from previous year for a running comparison. Turbo Tax is "king" for me!

I don't like paying the $40 to efile. I will be looking for a different option next year. May stop using TurboTax. Did it this year, because I was late in finishing.

Mostly a fine piece of software, but the handling of 1099 Misc and Schedule E still manages to confuse me completely! I have to enter the data over every time. But, eventually I get it right.
