TurboTax is extremely easy to use. It guides you through the required forms with speed and supplies you help all along the way. If you follow the forms the return is a piece of cake. E-filing is the painless way to go.TurboTax is the best way for anyone to file taxes.

Not Happy!

Well because of last years update, somehow TT dropped the direct deposit information from their program and We still have not got ANY of our stimuli payments. And now this year we are unable to send our taxes on line. AND we already paid for it. Two states and federal. So I may no use next year! Not Happy!

Software issues. Same issues thousands of others had. Time to research and mitigate unacceptable. Uninstall/reinstall mid stream also unacceptable

utah return with new solar

There were no forms provided for new solar being added to home for credit.The following forms are requird:
TC-40W latestl date
TC-40E with instructions
TC-40A with latest instructions
I expect to have problems next year if changes are not made for follow on tax credits in Utah.

Federal return was easy to use and covered all forms.

too bad it tries to cheat you into efiling state

Would be a lot better if it didn't make it so difficult to mail your state form so you don't have to spend $25 for nothing.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

THE DISC VERSION HAS A PROGRAMMING GLITCH

WHENEVER THE DISC VERSION OF THE TAX SOFTWARE IS SAVED OR COMPLETES A SECTION THE SOFTWARE MINIMIZES AND THE COMPUTER HOME SCREEN IS DISPLAYED. ALSO, THE ITEM LIST JUMPS BACK TO THE TOP SO IT IS NECESSARY TO SCROLL DOWN TO FIND MY LAST LOCATION; SLOPPY PROGRAMMING.

Turbo Trouble

Everything was good TILL I tried to transmit STATE returns. State returns would not email and I was stuck in a loop of error messages. Went online to resolve and the only good answer I found was to log off and wait two days and try again. WOW is that messed up but it worked.

It's too difficult to keep up with all the tax changes and there are too many fields requiring information from multiple sources. TurboTax makes it simple and easy to load information and you have added piece of mind since they check and audit your information.
