Turbo Tax worked well for 2020

Turbo Tax worked well for 2020... still interesting to see the 'Free' advertisement presented as though there's 1 state included ... only to be charged $25 for e-filing the one 'free' state return. Mailed the state return for the price of paper and 3 stamps (~$2).

Turbo Tax is a money saver

Turbo tax walks the tax filer through every step of the process and helps by asking questions about income and deductions. Relatively easy to use software.

Transmitted one return without a problem, tried to transmit another return and it wouldn't due to a problem with the downloading update and the program recognizing the update. Very frustrating.

Not very helpful with certain forms

Turbo Tax is helpful with filling in information from previous years. It is not very helpful in completing special forms since no guidance is provided in how to answer certain questions. For example, on Schedule C there is a question as to whether the business qualifies under 199A. I had to look through Google to find the answer. This is just one example. Not very helpful given the cost of the software,
