extremely happy with Turbo Tax

i have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and would not use any other tax service, you know the old saying why change when you have something good

Complete Satisfaction in an Extra Complex Year

I did a combination of guided and self-navigation to keep things efficient (but complete). This year I had part-year residency in two states and began my own business. If that wasn't enough, there were all the economic stimulus considerations due to the pandemic. TurboTax accommodated all these situations with ease. One thing they could improve upon is to allow for easier recording of non-W2 tax payments, like estimated payments. It just took a quick search, but it still seems like it should have been part of the normal workflow.

I was unable to open Turbo tax on my older Mac

Very Frustrating!!! My Mac needed to upgrade in order to open Turbo tax and my desktop is an older computer and would not allow the update. I do my returns and my grandchildrens returns which are very simple returns with just the standard deduction and because TurboTax would not load I had to use my wife's work computer. Even doing this review is cumbersome!!!! Nicname already used???? Nickname too short!! I hate this product

Turbo Tax Education Credit Confusing

The education credit for a parent plus loan held by a parent of a student no longer dependent was very confusing and hard to find the location where the information could be added. Still don't know how I found it. After clicking around going back and forward the location to input the information finally popped up.

It's easy to use with options for having the program walk you through each section, or allowing you to jump directly to the information you need.
