Turbo Tax

This year was a little more difficult than last year as the format had changed. It was still pretty easy to navigate though an it takes you step by step through each section, which I love.

Hidden fees

This year will be the last time I use TurboTax. Every time I use this and click E-file, I cringe at the additional $45 plus $20+ fees they make you pay if you want to e-file. It's never what you initially pay. I always end up paying $100 plus with extra fees. Might as well go to an accountant and get it done there.

Intel TurboTax is very effective and easy to use.

I have used TurboTax to do my taxes, both state and federal, for several years. A few years back I even used TurboTax for home and business to do the tax for both my wife and I. I have always found TurboTax easy to use and got a maximum return.

1099-MISC

It took forever to figure out my 1099-MISC form. It automatically sent me to a Schedule C form and never filled in the proper information. I had to manually input them.
Also, many times it said "must leave blank". When I try to delete the "0", it would not allow.
