TurboTax WAS good, but is archaic and glitchy

You know something is no longer being paid attention to when they recommend you revert your display settings to 800x600 resolution! Come on TT! I couldn't get the start screen prompts or the final e-file state prompts to work without reverting my laptop screen and external display to 800x600 and then switching between displays to show the buttons or additional input sections. This is not okay! I spent 2 hours trying to get it up and running and then e-filing. Waste of time, money and effort. I want my money back and unless over hauled, I'm not sure I'll ever use TT again...10 years of using TT and this is the result.

Been using Turbo Tax since the 1990's

I have been using Turbo Tax for around 30 years. This year seemed to be one of the hardest years because of a mortgage refinance. The loan was sold twice within the first 3 months and Turbo Tax did not pick up the fact that one of the loans had been paid off, so it appeared that we had 2X the loans on the property. I had to go out of the interview and into the forms to make corrections and set it right.

Spent more time installing, uninstalling, repairing, updating, removing, re-installing, updating, removing, re-installing, updating, than it took to actually write up the taxes. I won't be using the software again as it costs too much with the super high extra fees to file and ridiculous processing fees and with all of that the software development is obviously lacking quality that would call for premium pricing.

User Friendly!!

I like that Turbo Tax is user friendly. However, before I was able to efile my return, I was required to complete this Survey. I generally do not engage in surveys, and this was annoying.
