Turbo Tax is Great

Less than stellar this year

I've used this product for more years than I can remember. 25+ years? I have NEVER had a problem until this year. I usually file mid February so I can get the process done. Well, because of the charitable contributions issue not getting fixed until late in the game, its early May now that I'm filing.

Filing Back Returns...

TurboTax has made going back to previous years and filing back returns (an experience I was absolutely dreading) an absolute ease. Thank you to the programmers and tax experts that put all of this information together!

TURBO TAX 2020

2020 TAX PROGRAM IS CONSIDERABLY MORE COMPLICATED TO USE. I SPENT AT LEAST TWICE AS MUCH TIME COMPLETING THE FORMS AS IN 2019 RETURN, YET MY 2020 INFORMATION IS MUCH MUCH SIMPLER.
2020 TURBO TAX FORM IS VERY DIFFICULT TO RETRACE THE INFRORMATION.
I AM NOT SURE I WILL TURBO TAX FOR 2021.

Very Frustrating!

This was one of the most frustrating tax-year experiences we've ever had with Intuit TurboTax. It was confusing and kept taking us to forms instead of questions. It would be nice to be able to flip through to see the forms that we were filling out as an option. Some information did not save and we had to continually go back in and fill out those boxes. On the Smart Check, it would give us the fillable-PDF tax FORM (for example, Schedule C), but we wouldn't easily go back and correct that information in the format that TurboTax originally had when we were going through the process of filling out the taxes. We couldn't go back easily through to find where we made mistakes, which slowed the entire process down to a halt. We don't know what's happened this year that has made filing taxes so difficult, but TurboTax failed. Information was given after the fact rather than on the page we were filling out--and then the process had to be started again.
