I've used TurboTax for years without a problem.The best is that I can download my Broker 1099s. Saves me hours of typing in the information.

Updates after filing changed my file.

I filed my Federal. I was filing my State later. When finishing my State, I had to do a software update. That changed my file and now I can't recreate my filed version of my Federal. The latest update was for the late tax law change for unemployment exclusion.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Had one little problem this year. I got a $3K 1099-misc from a friend who owns a small (1 person) business. I assisted him for 2 weeks with some electronic wiring and equipment setup. TTAX wanted me to like setup a company and fill out a Schedule C, to claim my business expenses. I had none. Used his equipment, supplies, rode in his vehicle. I
finally called your help number and spoke with a wonderful young lady in GA. She helped me side-step the Schedule C and all is well. You need to program in a "Schedule C Bypass" when no expenses are incurred. Luv u guys!

impossible to sign into account

Tried so many times to sign into my Intuit account to pay taxes and got caught in a loop. Incredible that they failed in such a huge way
