I've used Turbo Tax for 10 plus years since a family member passed away leaving her Tax Preparation business to an unknown person. I have always been given professional advice and love this product. I have purchased other products to make sure I'm not cutting myself short. So-far, Turbo Tax is the easiest and best preparation software out there. Don Haynes

First used turbotax many years ago and it has gotten easier to use; much more user friendly. Although I did have issue trying to e-file state; the representative was helpful.

I am a procrastinator when it comes to taxes. I forgot how easy this program was the way it walks you through every step. Tax day is 2 weeks away and I get a refund. Why didn't I do them 45 days ago?

Feels like it knows what it is doing but baffling

Feels like it knows what it is doing, but has some gaps. It imports some data from last year then asks questions to work on this year. But, It is hard to say just where you are in the process. If there is something new this year doesn't quiz you to the spot. For instance It thought I was done when I knew I hadn't entered Jury Duty money. There was no search for "where do I enter Jury duty?". Another, I expect more tax next year so want my refund applied to next tax year and not sent to me. That is not an option in the Step by Step. After searching around I went to forms. Pulled up the 1040, found the block and applied the entire refund to next year.
