TurtoTax is great. Been using it since 1995!!

I've always found TurboTax to be a great way to do my taxes. I've had a few occasions to contact Customer Service over the years and they've always resolved issues. The product continues to evolve and the experience is much different now than 26 years ago, but just as relevant. For historical curiosity, I just checked this - I have all the prior year's folders on my computer and see that the tax file size in 1995 was 133KB. This year was 4.6MB.

Turbo tax

I had some problems with saving my return data in this 2020 version that I did not experience with the previous return years. I logged out several times, and saved my return but when I went back in I had to repeat questions and sections of the return that I had already completed. One time I returned to my document after saving, and discovered several highlighted errors that were not there during my previous session. I also had some problems with an error continuing on my Schedule K-1,form 1065.

Turbo Tax is really helpful

Turbo Tax is good, I use it every year. And every year I have the same issue: When filing as 'married, filing jointly', when I'm asked (for IL state return) if my wife filed in the previous years, do I answer "Yes - because when filing jointly, we're both filing", or "No - I filed our joint return, she did not file anything else." ? (Live help provided the answer: Yes)
Seems like a simple explanation would help here.

TurboTax providing incomplete data

TurboTax tells me the IRS rejected my 2020 return because of a wrong 2019 AGI number that TurboTax autofilled onto this year's return that supposedly the IRS has a different number. But TurboTax won't tell me what the number is supposed to be, and checking the 2019, the number is the same. Nothing TT provided showed me how to fix this issue.

Not Loading - Without Toggling Screen Resolution

Product was the same as most years except the issues displaying. Setting up and finishing off taxes was a nightmare because the software didn't display until I messed around with my display settings. The final steps in filing were the worst since I had to select a new resolution for every single new window. What a headache!
