Problems with Form 8543

Overall the program was working fine until I got to the very end and already efiled my taxes. It told me I had to print and snail mail to the IRS form 8543 which said to attach form 8949. This had absolutely NO explanation from the program and was all Greek to me. I had to search for several hours online with the IRS and Turbo Tax community to get any explanation. Apparently it has to do with summary vs detailed stock transactions, but there was NO WARNING in the program that this could be an issue when this information was entered. This is a serious flaw. I saw that many had complained about this in the TT community last year, but it has not been addressed.

i would have not filed taxes early if you have given me information to wait until all up dates had been made not I have to redo and send in again { confused} and not sure what to do now.

RELIABLE TURBOTAX

I have lost count of the number of years I have been using Turbo Tax. I trust the tax information behind it and the patient, useful interface up front. I would use no other tax software and recommend it to newcomers.

Turbo Tax is a great product

Turbo Tax was really great this year, but, the recommendation to combine multiple 1098 forms onto one form was really wacky. Why not just ask "did you refinance this year"? (like you did on prior year products)
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

CD Worked terrible with Apple Desktop this year

Latest software macOS Big Sur 11.3 and CD worked terrible this year!! May have to stop using TurboTax after many many years!!!
