Not easy to use at all

Turbotax is not intuitive and is not easy to use, they have standalone software and a web platform that are not linked. I do not recommend this convoluted application to anyone.

no direct place to get questions answered

Have used Turbo Tax since it came out. Used to be a place you could click on to get forms explained in layman's language. I can no longer find this feature. (Ex: If I don't know what a cost basis is, or how to figure out foreign income from investments, then I am on my own.) Was nice to see things explained a little better in the past -right in the interview. Yes, there was a feature to exit and ask the community, but then you had to wait for an answer. I am just interested in terms being defined so the average -non-accountant-type person can understand it. I learned so much in the past, but really there were no learning tools this year to speak on. I had difficulty understanding the forms and terms and what was really wanted with very little in the way of explanations for the past couple of years.

It was organized but wanted more simple steps. It would be good if the product is cheaper and allow more than one free State filing.

Not happy witth performance this year

TurboTax froze up 12 times while truing to enter the information and then froze up while I was trying to transmit.
