Been Using TURBO TAX for 20 Years

Turbo Tax makes filing fast, easy and accurate. Never had a problem their package couldn't answer and handle. I have done tax for Kids and parents as well as my own over the years.

1098-T Worksheet

I found an error with Question B on the 1098-T Worksheet under 1098-T Information which asks if the 1098-T Form "was received from this institution for 2019 with Box 2 filled in and Box 7 checked". There was no entry in Box 2 and Box 7 was checked on the 2019 1098-T Form. You would answer no to the question based on the info on the form. This worksheet is used to fill out Form 8863 Education Credits Part III Question 3. The program answers Question 3 on Form 8863 incorrectly based on this worksheet. The question on Form 8863 does not match the 1098-T Worksheet question - it should be corrected.
