Turbo Tax is the Only way to FILE!

We have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it extremely easy to use no matter what life throws at you. Relocation, selling a home or rental property and even retirement, Turbo Tax handles everything. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Standard Deduction short cut needed

After years of filing and recent increases in standard deductions, unless due to unusual circumstances, I have found that my itemized deductions do not and will not exceed the standard deductions. It is cumbersome and burdensome to collect and add all my medical expenses plus other deductions knowing that they will not exceed the standard deductions. A short cut to bypass these itemized deductions would be a help. A phrase such as "Looking back at your most recent itemized deductions and previous years' trends do you expect this year's itemized deductions to exceed the current standardized deductions? Any new increased expenses? Bypass itemized deductions.".
