Used it for years

I always go thru the interview in Delux, but I feel that the questions could be better worded. This year I somehow made it through without it asking me about an IRA contribution? I went back later and added the Roth contribution. There was another thing it skipped, that I only knew about because I have been doing my own taxes for years. I wish it was easier to go back and forth between the interview and the forms. I mistakenly entered something wrong in my daughter's year of college because I didn't understand the question ( I think it was referring to what year she was in college but it wasn't very clear) It took me a half hour to find the appropriate form and then figure out out to edit it. I should have been able to use a back button once I realized what I had done wrong to go back and edit. It made a $1,000 difference in my refund. I am sure taxes are getting more complicated and therefor the program must be also. But I think that each year Turbo Tax gets harder to use. Not easier. Also I save my work and when I reentered it started me at the beginning again, and not where I left off. In addition, I am a mac user and your program only works on Mac operating system for a few years, and then requires that I upgrade my operating system. Why?

the only change i would do is the print for mailing with 2sided printing you have to do 4 separate prints you don't mail the cover page

Please make it easier for phone or live assistance when returns are rejected! it is very frustrating as I had a stroke and my vision is sketchy! I could use a real live human being to speak to!! Thank you.

First time user!

In times past, I'd always do our taxes manually. About 7 years or so ago, our tax situation had gotten more complex so I paid a professional/CPA to do prepare our taxes. Last year, our financial scenario became simple once again but I had the CPA do them again .... and I got charged what I felt was an excessive amount for no more involved than our taxes were. So I opted to use TurboTax Deluxe this year - first time ever using a tax prep package. I've been totally pleased with how straightforward and comprehensive the software is - it doesn't leave any stone unturned!! No complaints at all from my end - everything worked absolutely as it should with no hiccups!

Everything is laid out logically. The program takes you through every possible scenario and gives you options to skip what is not relevant to your tax situation. It is comprehensive.

not as easy as advertised

at the end when the "Thanks for your order" screen is up it took so long tp bring up the print screen that i clicked on the "next" or whatever it was called button and since nothing, happened i kept clicking and eventually one after another of my click screens popped up and it also took forever to clear them so i could finally proceed to the actual e-filing. But all that time i was nervous that i had screwed up something when in fact it was T-tax that was causing the issue!
