I have been using TT for several years and like the convenience. A couple of comments:
- this year MAC and PC versions were separate purchases for download option. This was not convenient for multi-user family
- the state tax should also allow a number of free e-file options

I found it confusing for a newbie
began on my chrome book was not compatible tan being told when downloading to laptop. code has already been used. once that was resolved finished before e filing .than it took a long time to get where i needed to be to finish . found it accidentally
. i regretted the purchase a few times

Turbo tax review

After completing 2019 taxes (both federal & state), my state return showed I owed over $1600.00 . I have never had to pay a penalty on my state taxes. When I compared the state return to the previous year I found line 5 was way off. I contacted a lawyer to review my return. He found that my pension and annuities (which are not taxed in Illinois) did not show up on my state return. Correcting the error on the return showed no tax due to Illinois. Don't know why these items (pension and annuities) did not transfer correctly to my Illinois return.
