Turbo Tax is GREAT!

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1997 and I have found it to be a valuable tool. Over the years there have been many changes/upgrades. Some have greatly improved the experience, some only a little. I found Turbo Tax 2020 to be very good, but not great. There seems to be more and more references to online blogs for answers to questions - not always what you need to read - often useless information about totally unrelated topics. But I still feel that Turbo Tax does the job better than the competition and I will remain a faithful customer!

I have been using TurboTax since 2017. I love the layout of the program and how easy to use. I have tried other software before but nothing could compare to TT.

Never fails me, been using it forever!

I think using Turbo Tax is better than taking your taxes to a professional because it knows all the tax laws, deductions, etc. plus it never makes a mathematical error. You can take it at your own pace and get everything in order for a complete return.

Turbo Tax makes me confident

In general I had a good experience. Only problem I encountered was that I OWN my home and the program was hung up on getting my mortgage information. Program needs a box to check if there's no ortgage on a home that is owned utright.

Could have been a costly mistake

Like the TurboTax interview format. Glitch in the system, though, that doesn't automatically choose the best way to allocate what funds are used for a credit/deduction or what is used for exclusion on line 17 of the student's information worksheet could have cost me a lot of money if I hadn't manually went in and changed it. Also had to amend last year's return to make change as well which cost me hours of time.
