Turbo Tax for 2020 Slightly Disappointing

The first shock was learning after I ran my CD that the program would no longer work with Windows 7. I think there should have been a forewarning. The proposed alternative of Turbo Tax Online was not customer friendly enough for my taste and it only took a few minutes to figure out how to move previous year files to a Windows 10 device. As I worked through my taxes, I kept running into places where I was required to research and type in figures that were readily available to the program to import from last year's files which seemed like a big step backwards. Also, I found myself getting annoyed when I was stepped through a process where I had no warning of the materials required to fill out the forms. In these two regards, I came to feel and believe Turbo Tax 2021 can be improved by making it more like Turbo Tax 2019 rather than Turbo Tax 2020.

Problem at the end

I efiled the Federal then I received a message" We're having trouble saving your file to this location. Try unplugging your device and saving again or choose a different device or hard drive. Error: 102348". Then when I exit the Turbo Tax, I received a message: " Your Returns Have Been Sent. What this means: Your returns were successfullu transmitted...."

As good as I remembered from the last time

Got myself a little lost at the end, when I was ready to transfer my forms. Had a error and couldn't get it fixed. Then I just went to forms and was able to get things fixed. Clear sailing from there. Waiting for refund now. Thanks.

turbo tax easy to use

Turbo Tax does a great job of doing your taxes and getting all the information to help you do an accurate job of calculating taxes but also to get you the best of deductions and planning. Turbo Tax did a horrible job of system processing. I got stuck in a loop of updating and errors and was not able to efile. And the help also does a great job of tax questions but a terrible job of technical support. I will continue to use turbo tax. I will never efile through them.
