Turbotax has a software bug

Medical devises claims is mark as estimated. Enter correct amount and go to edit tab and click unmark. There is no unmark in edit tab. This prevented me from e filing.

Love Turbo Tax

Used Turbo Tax for years, the ease of filing year after year using the same software product is priceless. I like the way it navigates step by step but yet easy to bounce in and look at the forms. Some years I've needed the assistance of a CPA but I always start out on my own with Turbo Tax. I totally depend on your software and will continue to use it year after year.

Confused

I filed both state and federal taxes back in February. My husband claimed the unemployment he received. We received the federal refund but were waiting to send in payment for the amount we owed to the State. I ran the update when I saw that $10,200 paid for unemployment is now not to be taxed. Now we are due a refund for both State and Federal. Although the status shows accepted, I didn't file the amended taxes. Did TurboTax automatically correct/file my 2020 taxes? How can I find out and what should I do? I have used TT for years and I realize this year has been unique with all the late changes.

Been using it for years. Upset with filing fees

I like the fact that TurboTax copied my information from last year's return. That's a nice time saver. Federal filing was free with the purchase the federal software. I paid $45 for the state software, I assumed it included free filing. Come to find out there was an additional $25 fee to file my state return. In short, filing my state return cost me $70 to complete and file. I feel as if I've been taken advantage of. Next year I will look for a cheaper alternative.

TurboTax, the go to software for simple tax filing

TT has been my go to solution for tax filing for past many years. The layout, prompts and short description guides a user thru the complex tax filing process. The only confusing part is around the state tax filing fee. If the product purchased already includes one state then why is there an additional charge to e-file? Does include state applies only to calculate tax liability? If so then it should be clearly mentioned in the product description.

Turbo Tax Handles Taxes in a Very Simple Way
